This is the cabin that was featured in a 2004 documentary called Down Home which was the beginning of Barnwood Builders as we know it today. This custom built cabin is based on the floor plan originally built by Mark Bowe and named “The Retreat.”  This plan was designed to fit a sloped building lot with long range views.
